Polymorph - Topple

Here's an enemy design for a game I'm working in for uni called Polymorph
'Topple is a well respected soldier amongst the Mercurock ranks. Not being able to find place as any other soldier type, he begged the higher powers of the army to allow him to try something completely new and different. Taller than a Colossus, Topple’s armour is used as a stationary guard to block off access to certain vital points to the enemy. He has seen countless battles and his armour is mostly unscathed, forcing the army to consider using more units like Topple in future battles. Topple’s armour is cobbled together from the head of a Colossus and several other large rocks towered one on top of the other. He often sways and has many close calls with the ground, but neglects to tell his superiors about this. His weaponry differs from planet to planet, but with him being deployed in Alterus’ lush jungle he makes use of the local plant life. Harnessing roots of nearby trees and many vines, he creates great whip-like tentacles which he can use to thrash at enemies and also grab nearby rocks and fallen trees to throw at enemies wishing to pass'

Number one on my 'pain in the arse to colour's list! So much so that I didn't shade the tentacles - No matter how many times I tried I couldn't keep a consistant line with my mouse and the shading looked wierd. You get the picture, he's all whippy
