Polymorph - Ancient Colossus

Here's an enemy design for a game I'm working in for uni called Polymorph
'As a last ditch attempt to keep Cha at bay, Rocky orders a number of High Mages to form an enormous Colossus from a deposit of ancient rock spotted by scouting Drones. Given a fearsome toothed mouth and draped in moss and fossils, the Ancient Colossus was stationed at the Crystal Cavern exit to await Cha and finish him before he could reach Rocky.
Armed with long flint claws, all the abilities and power of a Gigas and encompassed with a Mage being to throw fire from its mouth, the Ancient Colossus is a force to be reckoned with. The rock it is formed from has been compressed to an almost crystalline strength, and is also extremely difficult take down'

My favourite design I think. I'd wanted to make him made of crystals and gems at first, sticking him in the Crystal Cave level and having it open out onto the final level, but I couldn't decide on how to colour him. Bright colours didn't really suit, ya know? Went with the fossil motife instead, which I think looks cool
